Chapter Activities
Fundraising
Throughout the year, the Colman-Egan FBLA participates in many activities. Among these
activities, fundraising is one of our bigger projects. Some of the Fund-raisers we do
throughout the year are:
This year has been one of most successful fundraising years in the history
of the Colman-Egan FBLA. This is partially due to the fact that we started doing
concessions this year. If any chapter has any good fundraising ideas or any questions
about our fund-raisers please let the chapter know.
Community Service Projects
Besides just fundraising, our chapter is involved in many difference
community service projects. One of our most recent projects was the adult computer class
we held. At this class we taught the Adults how to turn on and shut down a computer, type
in a letter, and how to access the Internet. The participants found it very beneficial.
Another one of our projects was serving at the banquet in Sioux Falls.
This was a real learning experience for most of the members. We are hoping to serve
another time in the near future.
